LABORATORY OF MUSIC AND COMMUNICATION IN INFANCY
LAMCI, recently created within CESEM, is a research space from which operates the Project Musical Development in Childhood and Infancy (PTDC/EAT/68361/2006), supported by the FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia.
LAMCI differs from other existing laboratories through its adoption of work formulae that reconcile research, training, artistic creation and providing services to the community, seeking to build a ‘natural’ environment with excellent conditions for the observation of musical behaviour, and situations of human communication and interaction.
